1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging New School Roofing LLC for services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and New School Roofing LLC (the "Company"), owned and operated by Eric Saxen and Diego Morales in Austin, Texas.

2. Services Provided

New School Roofing LLC provides professional roofing services including:

• Residential and commercial roofing installation
• Roof repairs and maintenance
• Storm damage assessment and repair
• Gutter installation and repair
• Roof inspections and consultations
• Insurance claims assistance

3. Service Area

4. Estimates and Pricing

Free Estimates

• Initial consultations and basic estimates are provided at no charge
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided
• Pricing may change due to material cost fluctuations or project scope changes

Final Pricing

• All pricing must be agreed upon in writing before work begins
• Change orders require written approval and may affect timeline and cost
• Emergency repairs may require immediate approval for safety reasons

5. Payment Terms

Payment Schedule

• Payment terms will be specified in your written contract
• Typical payment structure: deposit upon contract signing, progress payments, final payment upon completion
• Emergency repairs may require immediate payment

Accepted Payment Methods

• Cash, check, credit card, or bank transfer
• Insurance claim payments when applicable

Late Payments

Payments not received within 30 days of the due date may be subject to late fees and/or suspension of warranty coverage until payment is received.

6. Warranties

Workmanship Warranty

• We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your contract
• Warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship
• Warranty does not cover damage from acts of nature, normal wear, or improper maintenance

• Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties
• We will assist with warranty claims as needed

7. Liability and Insurance

Our Insurance

• New School Roofing LLC carries general liability insurance
• Workers' compensation insurance covers our employees
• Proof of insurance available upon request

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of defective work. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to lost profits or property damage not directly caused by our workmanship.

8. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about property and project requirements
• Ensure safe access to work areas
• Remove or protect personal property as advised
• Obtain necessary permits (when not included in our scope)
• Make timely payments as agreed
• Report any concerns promptly during the project

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, material shortages, or other unforeseeable events.

10. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation

• Customers may cancel before work begins with written notice
• Cancellation after materials are ordered may result in material costs
• Work in progress cancellations will be charged for completed work and materials

Company Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend work for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or breach of agreement terms.

11. Disputes and Resolution

We are committed to resolving any disputes professionally and fairly:

• Direct communication is preferred for resolving concerns
• Formal disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Travis County, Texas
• Texas law governs these terms and any disputes

12. Compliance and Licensing

New School Roofing LLC operates in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. We maintain all required licenses and permits for our services in Texas.

13. Modifications to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated to active customers. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
